If you're a Clan Mackenzie enthusiast, an Outlander fan or simply charmed by Castle Leod and its setting, visit us and experience its wonders for yourself.

We have scheduled open days throughout the year and also offer private tours by prior arrangement. Our volunteers and guides are well-versed in the Castle’s history and will leave no stone unturned as they steer you around the building and its grounds. Our tree walk is an absolute joy and recounts a history all of its own with plaques detailing who planted the trees, when and why.  They offer a different kind of insight into the Mackenzie's long and fascinating family history.

Wherever you come from and whatever your reason for visiting, Clan Mackenzie and the 5th Earl of Cromartie look forward to welcoming you to Castle Leod.
